Plantar Fasciitis/Foot Pain

Plantar Fasciitis/Foot Pain

The 3 Common Types:

  1. Plantar Fasciitis - pain in the arch of foot, very common          and very uncomfortable.
  2. Heel Spur - sharp pain in the heel area.  Related to                  calcium deformation in the calcaneal bone.  Besides,              Trigger point work, Calcium, Magnesium and other mineral    deficiencies must be addressed.
  3. Morton's Neuroma - sharp pain in the top of the forefoot

where a little nerve gets pinched between two "phalanges."

When is it serious?  - these conditions are not medically "serious," but they are very painful and incapacitating.

Pain Point Release Tutorial - (Plantar Fasciitis/Foot Pain)

Using the Trigger Point Tool, follow the video below and watch the specific points released for each of the types of foot pain.  The Kinetic Chain scan for Asymptomatic "Dense Points" is very important for foot  pain as the Big Toe, Calf, and Hamstrings are often restricted in movement.  If you have not watched the Trigger Point Tool Introduction, please do so for basic use, strategy, and precautions.

Thera-Bo Exercise Tutorial - (Plantar Fasciitis/Foot Pain)

The Thera-Bo Dynamic Stability Staff exercises include unique ankle core stability routines that build up the balance and "proprioception."  Proprioception is your brain's awareness of your foots position in three dimensional space.

Over time, without challenging balance activities your brain actually "forgets" how to move the foot and ankle with suppleness and responsiveness.  This causes stiff muscles which lead to foot pain and also increases your risk for falls.

Not to worry, the easy routine explained below will quickly rehab your lower extremity balance and coordination and restore function to the foot muscles, thus healing any pain syndromes.  Please watch the Thera-Bo Staff Introduction, for basic use, strategy, and precautions.
